Current: Version 1.0 is being prepared. This will be an open source release, with strong emphasis on extensibility. Also being worked on are XML based data and data structure formats, bug fixes, and efficiency improvements.
Aug 25, 2003: Version 0.3 is released at the public
distribution site.
Version 0.3 includes support for external modules. An example is
done in collaboration with JHU. This collaboration adds a wrapper
for accessing data in the Virtual Observatory, and a sophisticated
image display module that can handle many image formats.

This is a proof-of-concept trial for Mirage's capability of
working with user-supplied display code and custom database access.

May 20, 2003: The Version 0.2 distribution is now complete.
May 19, 2003: It has come to our attention that some distributions of Version 0.2 (Windows edition, i.e., mirage0.2.zip) have the demo data set omitted. If the "data" directory in your distribution is empty, please download the contents here (data.zip).
April 22, 2003: Version 0.2 is posted to the public
distribution site.
Version 0.2 mostly adds support for http based data retrieval
We have the Sloan and DLS servers set up by default, but
any other servers can be made using the same conventions.
There are also more scriptable commands, and column addition
utilities. Please see the Release
notes for details.
